No longer trying to ‘achieve a pose’ the postures grow in an intelligent way from the inside out and so we allow our practice to be an open ended enquiry.

In Somatic Yoga we focus on the internal experience of movement rather than imposing a shape on the body. Our practice reminds us that flexibility comes from releasing tension, stability arises out of firm foundations, challenge can come without strain on the body and that relaxation is an art that we need to practice!
