Ashtanga is a dynamic yoga style which is challenging on many levels. It's suitable for anyone who is up for a challenge!
Originating in Mysore, South India, the system was created to develop a strong steady body and mind, ultimately to prepare us for meditation.
Please be aware Ashtanga is a strong physical practice very very different to passive slow yoga styles.
The class is very friendly and most people in this class are relative beginners. I have a strong understanding of anatomy so postures can be adapted if you have an injury.
Class is not suitable for pregnant women if you are new to yoga.

I am a Yoga Alliance UK trained Ashtanga teacher who has also studied Ashtanga Yoga in Mysore, the birthplace of this incredible yoga system.
My classes are focused yet friendly with lots of hands on adjustments.
I teach privately in my own home studio or I can teach you in your home.
