I am intuitive in style (whilst following a 10 week plan) incorporating modifications of classical posture in order that all class members are happy to be able to work to their own abilities. Sometimes the class is invigorating and energising, other times strengthening, with emphasis on lower back problems and other common back issues and empowering, but always one feels stretched and relaxed in both mind and body after using various breathing techniques and meditations. A happy and relaxed place to be.

I grew up in a yogic home as my father had a Buddhist ethos and my mother was a yoga teacher. I began teaching in the Iyengar style some 35 years ago for Club Mediterannee in Mauritius and Reunion. I ran classes in different parts of Malawi, Zimbabwe and South Africa before returning to UK. I obtained my British Wheel of Yoga Accreditation in 2001 and taught in several gymns as well as setting up and teaching my own classes in York, North Yorkshire. I have also taught in France and on holiday 'assignments' in Greece and Lanzarote. I have also taught 1:1s. After so many years I am intuitive in style (whilst following a 10 week plan) incorporating modifications of classical posture in order that all class members are happy to be able to work to their own abilities. Sometimes the class is invigorating and energising, other times strengthening, with emphasis on lower back problems and other common back issues and empowering, but always one feels stretched and relaxed in both mind and body after using various breathing techniques and meditations.
