Chair Yoga can give you all the benefits of yoga in a more gentle and supported way. Chair Yoga includes everything that you'd expect from a yoga class - stretching, strengthening, balance, breathing and relaxation - through seated and standing postures. No need to worry about getting up and down from the floor. No need to worry about putting weight on your knees or wrists. No need to worry about being a bit wobbly.

I lead relaxed and accessible classes. I believe that as long as you are still breathing, then you are doing it right. For me, yoga is about how it makes you feel, not how it looks, and I hope you will feel a whole lot better at the end of the class than you did at the beginning. I am a 200hr accredited yoga teacher registered and insured with Yoga Alliance Professionals. I teach a relaxed style of yoga - this is a no-headstand zone - and I am particularly enthusiatic about making yoga more inclusive and accessible.
I am originally from Scotland (where I discovered yoga in the early 1990s), but now based in beautiful Whitley Bay, North East England.
