Traditional practices and philosophies of yoga are expounded along with the intensity of the asana practice, all in the inspiring and contemporary setting of the new upstairs Dance Studio at the Village College. It’s a beautiful space with dramatic lighting, wooden floors and a mirrored wall with a barre. The studio is efficiently heated to create a warm and inviting space in which to work.
In this class we explore the lightness of Yoga through developing grace and alignment. By understanding and executing the key alignment points of asanas and 'breathing our bodies' as we move, the choreography and joy of creative Vinyasa Yoga comes to life. Thoughtfully produced music playlists enhance the rhythm and pace of the class.
Contemporary and classical forms of movement and exercise complete the mix as well as micro-workshops where we take a detailed review of the alignment and execution of specific asanas. We also use simple Barre exercises to promote stability and balance in our hips though use of the turn-out muscles. Suited best to students with previous yoga experience and graduates of the Beginners Course.

Offering structured Beginners Yoga Courses and Vinyasa Flow (Level 2) classes in Cambourne. Thursday and Sunday nights. Taught in 8-week blocks. Next block starts June!
