This Gentle Yoga class is run in St Mark's Church hall on Tuesdays (9.45-11am) as well as online via Zoom on Thursdays (9.30-10.45am).
This gentle class provides a mixture of Hatha Yoga and restorative poses depending on students’ needs of the moment. As well as encouraging healthy structural alignment and breath/movement integration, there is a focus on deep relaxation. Gentle Yoga can help bring balance to the nervous system and heal the body and mind from everyday stresses.
This class is suitable to total beginners.

Since completing my teacher training with the British Wheel of Yoga, the governing body for yoga in England, I have never stopped learning through my personal practice and study. I have gained further qualifications in yoga therapy with a particular interest in back pain, restorative yoga and meditation. It is through yoga that I have developed a keen interest in the human body and the power of the mind. I believe yoga can be a powerful tool of transformation for our entire lives, at the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels.
