NOTE - This class is now on Zoom on Wednesdays
A slow and easy introduction to yoga, ideal if you're recovering from illness or injury or seeking a more gentle form of exercise. We'll be stretching and keeping joints moving, as well as building strength and improving balance. Learning to relax will help with sleep problems, and you don't have to get down on the floor if you don't want to.
This class is really appreciated by those seeking to start or continue with their yoga practice but feel a more gentle approach is needed. It has a great supportive atmosphere and currently has an age range of 35 - 84!

I have been teaching yoga since 2007 and love the way that people of all ages and abilities can gain so much from yoga in a variety of ways. Yoga will help you to move your body more freely, it will become stronger and more flexible. Stress levels will reduce as you learn to breathe more effectively; discover your true nature and improve your relationship with yourself and others through relaxation and meditation. Classes are held around the Stalham area and are suitable for beginners as well as those with more experience. I also offer one-to-ones in your own home, and am the resident yoga teacher at Breathing Space Norfolk. I am a holder of the BWY certificate in 'Yoga for People Living with Cancer', which shows how the simplest of yoga breathing, movement, relaxation amd meditation techniques, can help manage the stress, anxiety and pain that come with the dignosis of a life changing illness. In 2016 I completed the BWY module in Mindfulness for Yoga Teachers, enabling me to make mindfulness a focus in my teaching. Do get in touch if you would like further information.
