Unique Yoga classes where modern meets tradition. Megan combines calisthenic workout moves with Yoga to give you a full body experience whilst using traditional, Indian breathing and healing techniques from her training in Rishikesh.
Each class comes with its own level - Gentle Yoga is very relaxing and focuses more on calming your mind, reducing stress and loosening up tight muscles. These are beginner friendly and are more like your traditional Hatha Yoga class. Energising Yoga is slightly more upbeat and faster pace, but still beginner friendly. These are more like an easy workout that includes stretches for improving flexibility and building up core strength. Intermediate Yoga is for those who seek a challenge in their practice, as well as focus more on building muscle, balance and deep stretching. Not beginner friendly, however each class still caters for different variations to suit your body type.
Every Yoga class with Activate has a steady warm up, focusing on the mind, your body and preparing yourself for the session. There is always a relaxation period at the end of each session with some form of meditation and breath work. Each class is unique and always different so that you will never get bored or feel like you're repeating the same session which is great for those who want to attend more than one class a week.
