Small friendly beginners class. Iyengar yoga students use props to achieve correct action in a pose and to help us achieve poses which are not possible without. In this class, yoga mats and props such as blocks, bricks, bolsters, blankets and belts are provided but you're welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
Classes are varied, challenging and non-competitive. We focus on different postures each week to ensure a rounded monthly practice.

I have been practising yoga since 1988 and gained my first Iyengar yoga teaching certificate in 2006 and my Intermediate Junior Level 3 in 2012. I am a certified Level 3 teacher. Yoga is a huge part of my life and I have a burning desire to share it with everyone so that others may learn more about themselves through their practice. I am also a massage therapist and reflexologist and am committed to improving the lives of my students and clients using the skills and knowledge that I've obtained over the years. I teach classes in the local area and am also available for one to one tuition.
I am an approved mentor for the IY UK for students who wish to train to teach Iyengar yoga. I am also currently studying for a BSc in Acupuncture.
