What is Kundalini Yoga?
Kundalini Yoga Classes as taught by Yogi Bhajan is a technology of self discovery and personal development which enables the individual to reach their ultimate potential. Kundalini Yoga Classes is a action and intention of yoga that has the ability to elevate, inspire and awaken the individual to their own greatness.
Kundalini Yoga is the mother of all yoga’s. Each different form of yoga is a facet of the beautiful diamond, which is kundalini yoga. Kundalini yoga is the most inclusive of all yoga practices as it includes all aspects of yoga within its teachings.
Kundalini yoga classes are a dynamic blend of postures, pranayam, mantra, music and meditation, which teach you the art of relaxation, self-healing and elevation. Balancing body and mind enables you to experience the clarity and beauty of your soul. No previous experience in yoga is required for you to achieve results with your very first class.

Jill is a fully qualified Senior Yoga Teacher Trainer SYT500 and is accredited by YAP. Our training school has met the stringent requirements set by Yoga Alliance Professionals demonstrating that our courses are of the highest standard and that our graduates may use the title ‘ Registered Yoga Teacher' RYT as a sign of quality training. Jill completed her foundation, and level one Teacher Training in 2007 with the BWY to teach Hatha Yoga. In 2006 she also completed her RYT200hrs to teach Ashtanga Yoga with the Yoga Alliance. After completing her RYT200hrs & RYT500hrs Jill is now a certified Yoga Alliance Teacher.
Jill has been practised yoga for over 12 years and has been a qualified yoga teacher for over 10 years. She studied and completed her Ashtanga teacher training with one of the UK’s most respected Ashtanga, yoga teachers, Mark Freeth. She is a registered member of the Yoga Alliance Professionals, a Senior yoga teacher SYT 500hrs. Jill is also very proud to have studied with Swami Sachidananda MA. In May 2011 she added to her training with The Yoga Campus in London the Sitram Partnership, Uma Dinsmore Tuli, to teach pregnancy yoga. This added to the training with Marc Beuvain to teach yoga to children in 2007.
In 2012 she embarked on a 1 year mindfulness course with the Mindfulness Association and now leads 8 week Mindfulness Mediation Courses . Jill completed a 10 day silent retreat at Kagyu Samye Ling in Scotland with Drupon RInpoche, she also competed a 6 month Compassion and Wisdom Course with Clive Holmes. She also studies Yoga and Buddhist philosophy. In May 2015, Jill embarked on a One Year Compassion Training Course with the Mindful Association.
The journey continues in November 2016 Jill took the spiritual name Kamal Puran Kaur after completing her Level 1 Teacher Training
( exam still to be taken in September) - her main teaching focus is now Kundalini Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan.
As well as weekly Kundalini Yoga Classes, Jill also runs weekend retreats, themed days of yoga, monthly mindfulness meditation session and afternoons of relaxation Yoga, with yoga Nidra, Meditation & Pranayama. She teaches all abilities and ages from beginner to advanced. Her classes encourage the student to realise their full potential, and through the practice of the asana (postures) and the use of yogic breathing (Breath of fire & Pranayama), Kriya & Meditation the student experiences a strengthening and flexing of the body and a calming of the mind.
Jill’s teacher training diploma courses RYT 200hrs, have now been running for 4 years. Nurturing around 10 students each year to find their inner teacher.
Her sole purpose as a Senior Yoga Teacher and Tibetan Buddhist is to have compassion and kindness for all. This is her dedication every morning after meditation. She have a strong passion to help people, and continually explores new techniques, which keeps her own daily practice fresh and alive. Her practice is not full of advanced postures, and she will not encourage you into pretzel-like contortions.
Jill is interested in helping you uncover your true spiritual self, and cultivating an open and accepting attitude to your body and mind. Helping you to create a strong body from the ground upwards. Her primary motivation as a teacher is in helping people find strength, ease and comfort in both their yoga practice and their daily lives.
Jill’s back ground of competitive sport, including Karate and Body Building left her with several joint problems. She has found that yoga helped with these injuries and has strengthened her body and increased her flexibility.
