Gentle Yoga classes are especially designed to be accessible for those at all levels of health and fitness. Using the practice of yoga we can increase strength, enhance flexibility and improve balance. Each class comprises a gentle, chair based warm-up and breathing exercise, followed by some seated, standing, and floor based postures. The class ends with a calming relaxation exercise, to leave you feel relaxed but energized.

I have been practicing yoga for 15 years and hold a British Wheel of Yoga Teaching Certificate. I specialize in teaching Gentle Yoga to the Over 60’s and my classes are designed with this age group in mind. I aim to create an inclusive class environment in which people new to yoga will be able to practice with feelings of peacefulness and contentment. In my classes I have seen the many positive benefits of practicing yoga including better balance, increased strength, enhanced flexibility and improved breathing.
