Postnatal classes help you to refocus your awareness on your body, to give you the time to become one again. Your physical and mental body have gone through major changes during your pregnancy and during the birth of your baby and this is your opportunity to shift your attention back to yourself without judgement. Time to heal!
Using classical postures, breathing and relaxation techniques the class aims to encourage recovery, nurture and rediscover your body as well as helping you to adjust to your new role as a Mum.
Your little ones are most welcome to attend the class and may even join in with your practice, however this class is designed to aid your recovery therefore if you would like to attend on your own, that is fine too!

Hi. My name is Michele Mooney, I am a Mum of 2 and am a British Wheel of Yoga qualified Teacher (500+ hours training), the National Governing body for Yoga. I teach general hatha yoga, pregnancy and postnatal classes throughout Midlothian Scotland.
My yoga journey began over 17 years ago when I was pregnant with my son. I was instantly hooked and attended pregnancy classes and then general classes after his birth. My thirst for knowledge led me to studying a foundation course and then finally to a Diploma course which has allowed me to pass on the wonderful benefits of a yoga. I furthered my studies with modules in Pregnancy and Postnatal yoga. Having experienced first hand the amazing benefits of yoga, I knew that I wanted to share this journey with other new mums and their beautiful babies, postnatally. I have been lucky enough to have been taught by very experienced teachers and my learning hasn't ended here. I continually attend workshops and seminars every year to build upon my knowledge.
