What is Pregnancy Yoga?
The ideal practice to promote well-being, which has been specifically designed to meet the changing needs of pregnant women. It is a holistic therapy involving exercises, effective breathing techniques and relaxation methods. Babs' classes are recommended by local midwives, doctors and children’s centres.

We also run Birth Preparation Workshops for Mums and birthing partners in collaboration with a highly experienced senior midwife. Private birth preparation is also available.

Why Pregnancy Yoga?
There a numerous benefits of Yoga during and after pregnancy, some of which are:
boosting energy levels
relieving stress and anxiety
promoting restful sleep
keeping the body supple and strengthening muscles
maintaining a healthy back and pelvic floor
relieving common minor disorders of pregnancy
promoting early bonding with the baby
Class Format
Pranayama (breathing techniques for labour and birth), Vinyasa Flow (sequenced postures), Balances, Mat Work and Relaxation. Classes are informal and provide a supportive environment, where women can share their experiences and meet new friends.

What do I need?
A mat/blanket and 3 cushions/pillows to ensure your comfort for relaxation.

My name is Babs,

At Isvara Wellbeing, we offer a three-pronged approach to wellness – yoga, mindfulness and counselling.
Our yoga classes, mindfulness courses and counselling services can help you relax, strengthen, re-evaluate, cope and grow.
To me Yoga is a never-ending exploration of the body, mind and spirit. It is a path to discover our inner power. By cultivating self awareness we are able to connect to what is happening inside and become mindful of the present moment.

Yoga means to let go of ego and limitations and learn to uncover our true self. Only then can we begin to lead a more fulfilling, happier life, which will positively affect everyone around us. That is the true power of yoga!

I teach:
Classes, workshops and retreats. I like to teach more than just a physical practice, and bring awareness to your inner world so you too can experience yoga as it is meant to be – as a union of body, mind and spirit.

I provide:
Private tuition if you need help with physical or health issues or simply cannot get to a class. I create personal programmes to address special needs. Most importantly 1-2-1 sessions offer you an opportunity for some much needed ‘me’-time.

I support parents:
Mums learn how to prepare both physically and mentally for labour and birth. Partners learn how to be supportive and share the experience. Mothers can spend quality time with their babies, whilst getting back into shape.
