Pregnancy Yoga Classes are enjoyable, relaxed and everyone is encouraged to practice at their own pace. Pregnancy Yoga Classes are suitable for all levels of fitness and stages of pregnancy. You can start at any point in your pregnancy after 12 weeks; it is recommended you practice yoga until your delivery date.
Classes include yoga postures, breathing practices and a relaxation period. The course guides you through the stages of pregnancy and preparation for labor, birth and beyond. I also run a monthly educational ‘mini lecture’ series where expert practitioners talk informally for 10 minutes at the end of the session about their specialist area. Previous topics have covered pregnancy massage, hypnobirthing and the role of a Doula.
Rates: £14 per session & £5 one off registration bookable per term, or till your due date
Maxine Levy is a British Wheel of Yoga teacher, and is ‘Birthlight’ qualified(birthlight.com), with 10 years teaching experience. Private bespoke sessions are also available.
