Pregnancy Yoga

My Antenatal style classes help to provide yoga based pregnancy teaching to help alleviate certain discomforts of pregnancy such as back pain, PGP, Sciatica etc.
Using gentle hip rotations and flowing moves we avoid strain which can be seen in some normal yoga classes. I include work with the pelvic floor to promote elasticity and stability to help with the birth and postnatal recovery.
The class will provide a gentle way of maintaining or gaining fitness and promote general emotional wellbeing and reduce anxiety using relaxation.
Using different breathing techniques we help mums to increase and strengthen their lung capacity for labour and provide nourishment for their growing baby. My class is suitable from 14 weeks onwards and then I offer postnatal yoga to support women in the 4th trimester.​
