Yogamoo is owned and run by Laurence Turner. Laurence Turner is a French National. She lived in France until she graduated from Lille Business School. She moved over to the UK and lived in South London while taking a Master Degree in Foreign Affairs at the University of Wesminster on Regent Street.
Laurence likes eating great food in nice restaurants and relaxing in the garden. She loves skiing and swimming and meeting friends.
Her ambition was to work for the United Nations however she took her first job with a global leader in electronic components trading and spent 2 years at their Headquarters in Montreal. She transferred to the London branch and pursued a carreer in the electronics and IT industry in sales, product marketing, and supply chain positions.
She has been interested in health and sports since her late teens when she started swimming on a weekly basis. She subsequently used the local gyms, started jogging and joined the local Tae Kwan Do club. She continued Tae Kwan Do while living in Montreal and studied T'ai Chi there during 2 years with Master Sergio Arione.
Back in England, she was looking to resume a martial art class however did not seem to find the right school. She went travelling around the world in 2001 when she met Phillip her to-be husband in Australia however only encountered Yoga on her return in 2002 at the Wandsworth Virgin gym.
There she had found what she had been looking for and invested herself with various teachers and classes several times a week. She enrolled on courses, retreats and several yoga and meditation workshops in South London, some of which based at the Putney Sivananda Centres and became aware at that time of their Teachers Training Programme.
She married Phillip in the South of France and they moved to Reigate, Surrey where Laurence 's office was based. Laurence continued to study and practice yoga and qualified with Instructor Brenda Brown a Yoga Alliance recognised diploma. A little while after the birth of their daughter Luz, Laurence decided to qualify for Pregnancy Yoga and Children Yoga.
Laurences passion for helping people and her calm nature through empathy allows her to fulfill her lifelong dream to enable individuals to succeed and progress in both mind and body.
