Prenatal Yoga

Prenatal Yoga is a fantastic way to prepare your body and mind for birth, labour and motherhood.

This class is suitable for any woman 14 weeks pregnant, no previous experience of yoga is needed.

The Prenatal yoga class is a mixture of breathing techniques, warm up & loosening, gentle flowing movements with breath, stretching the body, strengthening the pelvic floor muscles and relaxation. All of these techniques are brilliant for pregnancy aches or pains due to your changing body. I also encourage women to practice the techniques at home for greater benefits during their pregnancy.

There is also time in the class for sharing information, discussion of pregnancy issues and birth preparation.

Yoga Balance

I qualified as a yoga teacher in 2008 from the Yoga Therapy Ireland training organisation. (I am now also a member of this organisation.) I have been practicing yoga for over 10 years, and teaching for 7. Additionally I have studied pregnancy yoga, and yoga for children. I offer classes in the North County Dublin area, for beginners, improvers and mums-to-be. I believe yoga is open to everyone and Yoga is a fantastic tool for life as it helps on so many levels physically, mentally and emotionally.
