I teach Hatha yoga and yoga for children.
I initially gained qualifications at the Special Yoga Centre, and the Life Centre in London, in 2007, to enable me to teach yoga to very special children. I continued to develop experience in yoga both in the U.K, and in India where I studied Hatha and Kriyã yoga.
I subsequently completed a Classical Hatha yoga teacher training in India at Yoga Vidya Dham, an ashram with links to Swami Niranjananda of the Bihar tradition. My training incorporated a synthesis of Astanga (8 Limbs), Hatha, Bhakti and Jnana Yoga based on ancient philosophies including Patanjali`s Yoga Sutras (Astanga), Hatha Yoga Pradipika and Tantra. I was awarded the Diploma in Yoga Education from The University of Pune, Department of Yogic studies in 2012 and then qualified as a British Wheel of Yoga Teacher, Level 4.
