Kathryn's yoga practise spans 35 years. She is currently, 2023-2024, serving on the Faculty for Post Graduate Trainings at Unity Yoga, Lewes, offering weekly Yoga Classes and One to Ones in private Practice as well as Small Groups of 3-4 for Meditation, Breathing and Relaxation. At Horsham Yoga Kathryn offers Yoga in Horsham to the community with weekly classes, workshops and retreats for mixed abilities including yoga on a chair. Yoga is adaptable to support all life changes. Everyone is welcome and no one is excluded. Individual needs are paramount so the yoga is adaptable giving the opportunity for each student to enjoy peace of mind with ease of movement for their body and mind wherever they may find their self on the path of living in the moment. Classes include yoga, meditation, Tai Chi Qi Gong. The emphasis is on the power of breath for regaining harmony, balance and inner peace with integrative practises such as iRest Yoga Nidra. All yoga and meditation practises support the latest findings in NeuroSicence to best support The Immune System, Metabolism, The Pain Response System, Body Temperature and Hormonal Balance.
Kathryn is a Professional Level Qualified Kripalu Yoga & Meditation Teacher, holding an Advanced 500 hour registration with Yoga Alliance International. In addition she completed a two year intensive 500 hr Acharya Programme with Zen Spot Institute USA. She holds certification in Sivananda Vedanta, Yin and Yang with Paul Grilley and Sarah Powers. She has extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology having worked with anatomist Paul Grilley author of Yin Yoga, A Quiet Practice, and Fellow of the London School of Oseopaths John Stirk author of The Original Body, Primal Movements for Yoga Teachers.
For 20 years, Kathryn has trained and worked with Richard Miller Phd, founder of the Institute for Integrative Restoration USA. She is a qualified iRest Teacher with the Institute for Restorative Integration in California USA.
