Seated Tai Chi & Yoga Class

Do you often feel full of tension and stress? Do you find it difficult to bend down and tie your shoes due to stiff joints? Are you anxious or worried about falling?

If so, chair yoga is the ideal exercise to add to your daily routine to work on the resolution of all these issues! The gentle stabilization moments and motions of chair yoga are known to relieve some of the most common aches and pains we can experience especially into our later years, whilst also improving strength, flexibility and mobility.

Once you begin practicing chair yoga with Discover Yoga Discover You, you’ll start to feel a sense of ease and relaxation throughout your body.

Your mind will gradually find peace and clam and will eventually work in unison with our movements to provide all feelings of all round well being. Over time, you’ll notice the tension that have highjacked your muscles and joints these last years will begin to release, and basic skills, such as bending over to tie your shoes, are again possible!

You'll begin to sleep better too which again restores strength to the mind and body.

Chair yoga can be practiced by anyone struggling with balance, strength and flexibility.

My classes are super friendly, super supportive and super fun. My Chair Yogi's are dedicated to their practice and we have a great time together. As well as practising together new friendships are being built - reducing the feelings of loneliness that some may experience in their later years through no fault of their own

Adding a chair into your practice to your life provides extra support - physically and mentally, so you can learn and practice basic stretches to enhance the overall quality of your life.

Welcome!
My name is Louise Fenner and I am a Hatha Vinyasa and Hot Yoga Teacher. I am an accredited Meditation Teacher with the British School of Meditation (BsoM)

I also teach Tai Chi Shibashi, Yoga Nidra, Seated Yoga and Menopause Yoga (MY).

I teach live "in-person" and online classes in Bristol with an emphasis on supporting complete beginners as they take that exciting first step onto their mats and onwards into the wonderful world of Yoga practice.

I run my own dedicated Yoga Studio in Chipping Sodbury, Bristol.

Here, my passion is to grow and nurture a thriving Yoga Community to bring like-minded individuals together, aiming to support them in their Yoga journey both on and off their mats.
