I have been practising yoga for over 15 years; I first discovered yoga while working as an accountant in a stressful environment in the West End, my practise showed me the benefits of reducing stress levels through yoga as well as keeping me mentally and physically fit. Yoga gave me the opportunity to slow down, breath and become aware what is important.
I was lucky to have the resources to go to India in 2013 and train as an instructor with Trimurti yoga centre in Goa, where I qualified as a Yoga Alliance multi-style instructor, which was an amazing experience. I started teaching as soon as I returned and was able to give up the accounting 12 months later….yippee!
Every day I am learning and thoroughly enjoying where the journey is taking me. I currently teach drop-in classes at a local hall, schools and universities and a care home for the elderly as well as private classes in clients homes’
I also studied Health & Nutrition, and Anatomy & Physiology whilst training as an Aromatherapist and masseuse in 2005.
