I am a local yoga teach and student physiotherapist, teaching in Surrey and Kent. I teach Vinyasa flow with a strong focus on alignment and beginners classes.
Following finishing my degree in Biological Sciences, I decided to follow my passion and train to teach yoga. I completed my 200 hour Yoga Alliance teacher training in Tuscany in June 2017 with LagoCph and Tuscan fitness.
I first started yoga as a teenager to help manage scoliosis and a consistent practice taught how good moving could make our bodies feel.
I've become more and more interested in the effects of movement on our minds and bodies and am currently undertaking a MSc in Physiotherapy at Kings College London. As I learn more about the body and how it moves I can feel it evolving how I teach yoga.
I am always learning from my students, experiences and studies and constantly finding new sources of inspiration. My aim is help my students develop a yoga practice that is safe and beneficial to them in all aspects of their lives, not just on the mat.
