I have been practising yoga for over 25 years having started taking classes with the wonderful Monette Goetinck in Los Angeles (who was 85 years old when I began). My love of yoga has stayed with me, evolving over the years as I settled into life in Surrey as a mother to 4 boys.
I qualified as a teacher in 2014 with Seasonal Yoga Teacher Training which was an amazing, life changing experience. I now teach several classes a week in and around Godalming, Haslemere, Churt and Petersfield.
I teach flowing classes in tune with the energy of the seasons. I teach small group classes, private sessions and also run gentle classes aimed at the slightly older yoga student, or those who would prefer not to do floor work.
I am a big fan of Donna Edens Energy Medicine work and incorporate her energy flow exercises into my practise. My yoga journey feels like it has only just begun and I am loving sharing my ever expanding knowledge and experiences in my classes. I recently completed a Reiki 1 course which was fantastic and is something I am enjoying using with my students when necessary. I am also a Yoga therapist working with individuals or small groups with specific conditions such as insomnia, anxiety, osteoporosis etc
