Open-level Yin Yoga practice for participants with some previous yoga experience.
Here are three very simple and very effective principles for the yin practice:
Come into the pose to an appropriate depth;
Resolve to be still;
Rest in the posture for some time.

Hi, I'm Debbie.
Health and wellbeing are at the heart of my teaching philosophy. I aim to provide a safe and open environment where students are guided through a structured approach to yoga that centres on awareness of the breath, mindful movement and conscious intention.
Where it all began . . .
I've had a passion for the arts, movement and dance since I was very young. In my late teens, I moved to London to train in contemporary dance and went on to a lifetime career as a professional dance teacher, training and inspiring upcoming dancers and choreographers.
I started practicing yoga over twenty years ago when I took a course in dynamic yoga with renowned yoga teacher and writer, Godfrey Devereux. While travelling the world, I was lucky to have met and studied with a number of gifted yoga instructors, including Ramesh Sapkota and Chrissie Gregory in Kathmandu, Fernando Pacheco in Bali, and Nina Vukas in Portugal.
Qualifications
I became a licensed yoga teacher after completing the 200-hour training with Spanda Vinyasa Yoga School in Portugal, and am now running classes at Asha Studio in Trident House, Paisley. My yoga practice is informed by various traditions, including Ashtanga, Iyengar and Hatha yoga. My academic qualification include an MA in History of Idea, a Teaching Diploma, and an English Teaching certificate (CELTA).
