Yin Yoga is a restorative and therapeutic practice. It focuses on deep passive stretches and breathwork. This is a slow mindful class where we hold postures without muscle engagement and with prop support for 2-5 minutes each. It calms the nervous system, opens up the body and improves posture. It is especially beneficial as a therapeutic device for people with mobility problems. Yin Yoga is known for helping with pain and stiffness in the body.
All ages, bodies and abilities welcome.
