Everyday life can be very fast and leave us over tired, stressed and depleted. We tend to forget our true self and spend the day rushing not only with our body but with our mind too. The stress all adds up and affects the quality time we then spend (or we don't) with our family and loved ones.
Bharti's classes are tailored for all who have a genuine wish to find some peace and truth within and who wish to rediscover the happiness we have inside.

Yoga and Meditation Classes

Bharti has been practising yoga since 2000. Initially she started with Hatha Yoga and then in 2004 started practicing Ashtanga Yoga with teacher Christos Christophy in London, who continuously inspired her and was able to transmit his passion for yoga as a spiritual practice (sadhana).
Bharti also studied with Eileen Gaultier and Lino Miele and took courses with internationally known teachers such as Surinder Singh, David Swenson, John Scott and Matthew Sweeney amongst other international teachers.

She immediately knew yoga would be a long term friend and the source of self discovering and development. After living in London for several years and working in the corporate world she felt naturally drawn to yoga as a lifestyle and decided to teach and help people through healing. So she trained as a Yoga Alliance certified teacher in India, where she also lived in an ashram for a few winters and where she was able to really deepen her practice, not only with asanas but also studying the scriptures and 'living' every aspect of Yoga.
Since 2010 she has been spending several months in India every year, where she teaches English to orphans as a volunteer and continues to deepen her practice through daily asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing excercises) and meditation. In 2012 she was also initiated into Reiki in the Usui/Tibetan tradition by Rebecca Lemaire and now incorporates it into her daily practice, as well as giving Reiki treatments to others. Her approach to Yoga and Reiki is very holistic and therapeutic and she sees them as toosl to improve one's outlook on life and speed up the process of purification towards a clear heart and mind. Healing is an ongoing process and she believes these two practices can really help you through it!

She currently teaches in London in the winter and one week intensive retreats in Italy and Crete in the summer. She has also taught in events such as EcoCamp (music and holistic festival in central Italy) and at Tushita Meditation Centre, Dharamsala, India.
Bharti's teachings focus on Hatha Yoga followed by pranayama and meditation. She also promotes Kirtan (mantra singing), which helps open the heart and reconnect to one’s self as well as self massage and relaxation exercises. In her retreats she also includes practices such as Trataka, Eyes Yoga, Water Yoga and Osho's Nadabrahma Meditation.

The retreats are usually in the countryside, on the beach or moutain areas so that the nature and slow pace of the place are of great help for Yoga practice.
