Hello there, I'm Sian and welcome to my page. I have been practising yoga since I was a teenager (nearly 17 years ago now!) and I really appreciate the sense of grounding, clarity and stillness that it brings me. I completed my yoga teacher training at Mandala Yoga Ashram in 2012-2014 and have been teaching ever since, at the ashram and in gyms, leisure centres, village halls, offices, yoga studios, and at festivals. I am also trained in Somatic Movement Education, a system that gives people the tools to get themselves out of muscular pain and tension. I teach group classes around Carmarthenshire and offer private sessions to individuals wanting to develop their own practice or to work on something specific, such as back pain. My current practice and teaching has an attitude of curiosity, and balances gentle, restorative practices that release deep-rooted tension with practices that develop strength, stability and flexibility on all levels. I am passionate about restoring functional movement where it has been lost, and am a huge advocate for self-care.
