Classes are specifically designed with the runner and cyclist in mind, lengthening tight overused muscles and strengthening underused muscles. The aim is to help students develop physical and muscular balance, focus, flexibility, strength and endurance as well as using some breathing and meditation techniques to help performance. Suitable for all levels including those completely new to yoga.

Krista first stepped onto a yoga mat in 2003 during her final year at University, she was looking for something healthy to ‘do’ having spent the first two years socialising and clubbing! She soon realised that yoga wasn’t really about doing and found it that instead it bought a stillness, space and focus into her life that made her recognise just how stressed out her hectic schedule was making her. Yoga soon became integral to her daily life and in 2013 she completed the 2 year Teacher Training diploma at Triyoga, one of London’s leading centres, with Jean Hall and Mimi Kuo Deemer. More recently she completed training in restorative yoga with Roger Cole & Judith Lasater.
Krista has a BSc in Physiology and Pharmacology and a background in medical research which gives her a good understanding of the human body. She is a keen runner and cyclist and believes that a regular yoga practice compliments these disciplines by developing flexibility, strength, balance and mental focus.
Krista teaches a variety of classes to suit all abilities and interests. Her classes place a strong emphasis on the breath, with the aim of deepening internal experience and focus to create space and stillness. Krista encourages students to develop body awareness, healthy alignment and explore their potential
