As an experienced runner myself, I understand the impact our sport can place on the body and how yoga cannot only bring balance to your training but help make you a better runner. These classes usually work with a particular focus for the month building strength, improving flexibility, helping prevent injury and offering an opportunity to relax and recover. I discovered yoga as free weekly classes were offered by my then employer the local hospital. This was a complete change for me having spent the previous decade living quite an unhealthy lifestyle commuting to London. I loved these classes and soon noticed the benefits. Yoga has given me a greater awareness of my body and also an appreciation of what it can do. I teach a range of classes - yoga for runners, chair yoga, corporate sessions and one to ones.
