Initially training in Vinyasa Flow Yoga, with a focus on the needs and benefits for dancers, Rachel tuned into the fluid and flowing style of this yoga as her forte. She has an intuitive way of moving and an instinctive way of teaching that supports each student to find their inner flow.
Loving to explore feminine movement and expression in yoga, she began to specialise in working with women. She studied pregnancy yoga, postnatal yoga and womb yoga with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli and now loves nothing more than to hold a loving and nurturing space where women take time to remember that which is deeply intuitive; a way of moving, a way of feeling, a way of listening and a connection to the power within.
Rachel has a way of holding space for women that feels safe, supportive and nurturing and allows women to let go and receive deep healing relaxation. She leads classes in a fluid and flowing way, interweaving meditation, asana, pranayama and chanting that provides comfort, ease, support, strength, and emotional peace.
