A gentle yoga class for beginners and beyond, led by Sweaty Betty teacher, Alison Lam. This class gives you the opportunity to focus on your own well-being and aims to facilitate relaxation and calmness of mind, through breathwork and gentle asana (posture) practice. The maximum group size is limited to 6 participants to ensure you get the attention you need. This is a great follow-up to a dynamic class, or a morning run, and for yoga newbies looking to ease into a regular practice. Either way, it’s the perfect start to your week!

Alison has been practicing Pilates and Yoga since 2006 and in 2014 she decided to further her own personal yoga practice by completing a year-long, 200 hour Yoga Alliance certified teacher training course.
Since completing her training, Alison has been humbled by the reality that a yoga teacher’s learning is never complete, and the capacity for knowledge is endless. Her teaching style is influenced by many of her beloved teachers (who she is eternally grateful for) and mainly lies within the Hatha, Vinyasa flow and Yin disciplines.
Alison’s classes are fun but challenging, whilst being down to earth and open to all. Her classes allow her students to feel grounded, present and find inner stillness through conscious movement, alignment and breath awareness.
