Yin practice has many benefits, it increases flexibility, melts away stress, helps establish a meditation practice, releases fascia and improves joint mobility, balances internal organs, and improves the flow of prana (or chi). It is a restoring counterpart to yang forms of exercise including strong vinyasa practices, running, cycling, etc.
Hatha yoga and slow flow practices can benefit all levels.
