This weekend intensive will explore the foundations of the ancient system of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, providing a detailed introduction to this life-changing practice.
The morning sessions will explore the core poses (asanas) of the Primary Series, weaving the 3 key elements of the Ashtanga system (breath, bandhas & drishti) together to develop a simple home practice. The afternoon sessions will build a fuller understanding of the nuances of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, covering elements of alignment, chanting (mantra), breath control (pranayama) and meditation.
