This two-hour workshop, taught by Gingi Lee, is for those who are interested in starting a yoga practice but would like to dip their toes in first before joining a regular class or a longer course. The workshop will look at the foundations of movement and breath synchronisation, giving insight in to yoga and its many benefits as well as elements of meditation, breath work and relaxation. This workshop accommodates those with limited or no experience of yoga. The focus will be on establishing the key foundations of the practice:
-synchronising breath to movement
-building internal core strength
-specific detail on alignment
-building strength and flexibility
-understanding the polarity of grounding and lifting
-deep meditative relaxation process

The Shala is a well-established yoga and Pilates studio with a reputation for inspirational teaching.
