Bhakti Yoga Retreat

We are delighted to announce two forthcoming day retreats on both Sunday 26 March and Saturday 1 April, 2017. We warmly invite you, your friends, and your family to come and immerse yourself in uplifting spiritual activities for the day. The day retreats will take place on the premises of Greville House, the Bhakti Yoga Institute's beautiful Grade II listed building, which is located in the vicinity of Bedfont Lakes and Virginia Water. We again have an inspiring programme lined up.

Our Retreat on 26 March 2017 include:
-9:00am- 9:30am- Kirtan Session
-9:45 am - 10:30am -Introductory Talk on the Bhakti Yoga practice
-11:00 am - 1:00pm- Cooking workshop
-1:00 pm - Puja Ceremony
- 1:30pm - 2:30pm Lunch
- 3:00pm - Talk on: Ancient Traditions in the Morning world" by Kamal Tyagi.
-3:45pm - tea
-4:30pm - Free Spirit Theatre, discussion & concluding Programme

On Saturday 1 April, 2017, the Retreat will include :

9:15am- 10:15am- Hatha Yoga with Susy Galante
10:45 am - 12:00 -Kirtan & Talk on: Buddhi Yoga: The Path of Wisdom
12:00 Puja Ceremony
1:00 pm - Lunch
2:00pm - Class on: "Practicing Bhakti Yoga at Home" by Kamal Tyagi.
3:15pm - Tea break
4:00pm -5:00 Free Spirit Theatre, discussion & concluding Programme

The Retreat package is open to anyone regardless of age, ethnicity, or faith. The BYI is an educational charity so the retreat will be free of charge, though donations are welcome.

These Bhakti Yoga Retreats are a great opportunity to learn more about the various insightful aspects of the practice of Bhakti Yoga that you can integrate into your daily life. It will also be a chance to make friends with like-minded spiritual people. Programmes will be led by Kamal Tyagi, Sachidevi, Saraswati, Pandita, Vira, and Nitai.

Hatha Yoga with Ferozea

This Hatha Yoga class includes physical practice of asanas (postures), breath awareness, and relaxation. Hatha Yoga is a tool to connect, starting by listening to oneself by stilling the mind. Using asana practise and breath work to develop awareness, which in turn develops awareness towards others, the environment, the planet and so forth. The physical benefits alone are immense. Yoga is the beginnings of building trust, and the beginnings of healing from the inside out and much more. In the modern age we live in, people have forgotten how to breathe and make that connection to themselves. One conscious breath and one still moment whereby the mind, body and breath are one, is a seed planted for a more conscious way of living
