Join Amanda & John as you put your heart above your head, release your fears, and reap all of the benefits of turning your world upside down with inverted asanas!
This workshop will start with a short Vinyasa Flow practice to prepare the body for inverted postures by not only opening but switching on the key muscles to help you stabilize and support yourself whilst upside down. You will be taught a variety of postures including headstands, forearm balances, headstands and much more, whilst being guided through correct alignment, technique and proper modifications including progressions and regressions, to start making these poses a part of your daily practice.
No inversion experience is necessary… This is where you come to learn. All are welcome*!
*This workshop is not suitable for people with high blood pressure, glaucoma, or any other condition which is contra indicative to being inverted or bearing weight on the wrists, forearms or head.

Adventurous couple and avid foodies, Amanda & John are Yoga Mix. Their Yoga Mix studio in Canonmills offers Group, Corporate and Private Classes along with Yoga Workshops. Private and Corporate Yoga classes can also be taken at your venue. Yoga Mix also runs Yoga Retreats throughout the UK and offers Sports Massage and Remedial Therapy.
Amanda and John are both qualified Vinyasa Flow and Ashtanga teachers who also have been trained in prenatal and restorative yoga.
