Annual retreat to Samye Ling in the, rolling hills of Eskdalemuir: This gives more time and space than is available in a regular class allowing you to deepen your practice and sensitivity on all levels. Taking yourself away for the weekend and the ambiance of a dedicated retreat centre lends itself to a more relaxing mood not to mention the fact that The Shrine room is lovely and warm, so ideally suited for yoga. There are sufficient breaks in the programme to explore the culture and art around the temple complex or walk/cycle further afield in Nature, by the river or in the woods, or indeed The Tibetan Tearoom/Café, as you prefer. Guests are welcome to attend meditation and prayer sessions from the daily programme of Samye Ling if they so wish it is altogether most conducive for a yoga retreat.

Founder and resident Sivananda teacher at white Room Yoga, Sharon Wilson Hodgson , has been joined by Julie Anderson as resident Iyengar teacher.
This collaborative venture will enhance the yoga experience for both students and teachers in Dundee, Tayside and beyond.
