I discovered Ashtanga Yoga quite late in life, and immediately noticed that yoga differed from other forms of exercise in the way it had a positive effect on the emotional as well as the physical state. As a secondary school teacher for 25 years, I felt it a natural progression to train to teach yoga and was privileged to be able to train with Brian Cooper, renowned author, founder of The Yoga Alliance UK, and one of the best Ashtanga Yoga instructors in Europe.
I love being able to share this practice and to watch students progress. The great thing is that it is accessible to everyone … you don’t have to be flexible or have any experience to start .. you just need to start.
