Originally from a dance background, Abby gained a BA in Dance Studies from Middlesex University in 1995 and then worked as a professional dancer/teacher and choreographer before becoming more involved with yoga in the late ‘90s. She has been teaching yoga for 15 years, and is qualified to teach yoga through Yoga Campus (formerly Life Centre Education) is a Senior Yoga teacher registered with the UK Yoga Alliance and Director of Embodied Dancer, a unique, dance-specific yoga teacher training programme.
Abby is currently Head of Studies at Rambert School of Contemporary Dance and Ballet, and has previously taught at: London Contemporary Dance School, University of Northampton and the University of Malta. Her subject specialisms are dance, health and well-being, dance history and Critical Studies.
She received her PhD Yoga and the Dancer, in 2012 from Middlesex University, London and has further qualifications in Dance Science from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Dance and Music.
