Woodland Yoga is delighted to be offering a beginners class focusing on body alignment, the fundamentals of pranayama (breath work), bandhas (internal locks), key asanas (postures), finding your vinyasa (sun salutation) and aims to give you the confidence to restart your yoga practice or for those brand-new to yoga.
These classes will focus on anatomy and the benefits that each pose can offer, taking into account your individual body needs. Each week there will be a different theme and focus, whilst doing a rounded practice, therefore building up to a greater awareness of what your body needs and your understanding of yoga.
The aim of these classes is to provide a gateway into the other classes, workshops and retreats that Woodland Yoga offers so that you feel confident to attend and perhaps more importantly, inspired to continue your yoga practice and draw on its healing, supportive qualities.
