Basic Hatha

This class is ideal for beginners as well as those wanting to review the fundamentals of yoga practice. I will guide you through introductory yoga postures with an emphasis on correct alignment and proper breathing techniques.

A gentler form of yoga, hatha focuses on postures and breathing exercises. Hatha yoga incorporates slow stretches with breath and relaxation techniques benefiting you both physically and emotionally. With a keen emphasis on alignment, this class is also great for improving your stamina and posture and for reducing your daily stresses. I teach in a relaxed and non-competitive environment.

Basic & Dynamic Hatha Yoga Classes

With more than 12 years' experience, Sybille teaches a form of Hatha yoga inspired by the Yogic teachings of Faustomaria Dorelli, a direct disciple of Swami Vishnudevananda who was the founder of yoga centres in the western world. Sybille trained at the Sivananda Yoga Vendanta Centre, one of the leading schools in India as well as the British Wheel of Yoga (BWY).

Central to her teaching are Kriyas, a series of powerful cleansing techniques that help to clear toxins from the body systems. Sybille’s yoga has a specific emphasis on an individual’s requirements and postures are regularly adapted and moulded to benefit a person and their unique story. With mindful practice yoga can be an effective tool for helping individuals to experience their body in the moment and also to develop an open consciousness of how it is feeling.
