I offer beginner's Hatha Yoga courses taught in the Himalayan Institute method, which is the way I learned this style of yoga 25 years ago. It is a very gentle, methodical method of learning basic asanas (postures), yoga philosophy, basic pranayama (breathing practices) and more. Each class starts with a centring exercise, warm up exercises, asanas, pranayama and guided relaxation. If you want to progress in yoga, be persistent and consistent in your practice. Please note this class has been oversubscribed for the past year and has a waiting list in operation. Sorry no casual drop-ins. Yours in yoga, Leigh

I have been pracitising yoga for over 20 years and completed 200 hours of teacher training at the Himalayan Institute in Pennsylvania in 1998. I completed my Perinatal Diploma, yoga for labour and birth in 2010-2011. In 2012 I have started my advanced postnatal diploma with Birthlight.
I currently teach a Hatha Level 2 class, two Hatha Level 1 classes and two pregnancy yoga classes in Rugby, Warwickshire. I also teach monthly workshops on yoga for labour and birth for women in late pregnancy, along with their chosen birth partners.
Please see my website for further details and feel free to contact me prior to coming to class with any queries.
