Prepare to Flow!
A structured introduction to yoga covering basic postures and the Sun Salutations that form the basis of the flow classes. We cover yoga philosophy, the subtle energy body, basic breathing techniques, yogic meditation and methods for deep relaxation. Handout materials are provided. The course leads to a foundation in vinyasa yoga suitable for progressing to the stronger and faster-paced dynamic classes.
This 4-week intensive course is suited to motivated beginners, re-starters and improvers with reasonable levels of physical ability. Due to the popularity of the classes in general, this is the last opportunity in 2014 for beginners to get into the main classes.
Am I a beginner? If you have taken less than 3-6 months of REGULAR classes, or you've practiced Yoga a long time ago and you don't remember much, such as the asanas or the style you praticed. Even if you've done a little bit of Yoga 'fitness' or Pilates the chances are you will feel out of your depth and not be able to work safely in the main classes. Yoga is a journey not a destination - start with a good grounding and a safe foundation to build on.

Offering structured Beginners Yoga Courses and Vinyasa Flow (Level 2) classes in Cambourne. Thursday and Sunday nights. Taught in 8-week blocks. Next block starts June!
