Indirayoga

Indira has been practicing yoga for the past 19 years and teaching for 13 years in different countries. Her passion for yoga grew through her three pregnancies. Its practice was invaluable in preparing and aligning body, mind+heart during pregnancy, in birth, and beyond through her mothering journey.

She has been greatly inspired by Ina May Gaskin while she completed the Assistant Midwifery Apprenticeship. She has also had the honour of supporting too-many-to-count mamas/couples in their birthing journey as a Birth Doula for the past 7 years. She works part time as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant at Kings College Hospital. As a mother of 3, she has first hand experience of practicing yoga in the post natal period and is a big advocate of its physical and mental benefits to help tone and strengthen the physical body and recover through this transition.
