I first became interested in yoga as a young teenager after reading the book “Forever Young” by Indra Devi (who lived until the ripe old age of 102). Time spent in India further deepened my love of this ancient tradition and wherever I have lived or travelled I have practised yoga in some form or another. In fact whilst studying at Bath University I founded their Yoga Society as incredibly no such club existed when I embarked on my studies there back in 1995. I love the positive effect yoga has on my body and mind and I always try to find ways to ensure my daily practice. I find yoga is a great way to unwind and alleviate the stresses that come our way in a busy city such as London. Anyone can do yoga - that's the beauty of it. I am a graduate of Yoga London which is accredited with the Yoga Alliance (200 hours training). In addition I have completed 100 hours (body module) 100 hours training (yoga philosophy module) working towards my 500 hour qualification. I have also completed Birthlight Baby Yoga Level 1 training and Children's yoga training with "Kidding Around Yoga". I am a qualified Reiki (level 2) and Indian Head Massage therapist.
