I am an Advanced Yoga Sports Coach™, Yoga Teacher and Martial Arts Instructor and have studied extensively in various styles across the world. I am a qualified British Wheel of Yoga Teacher and have completed Postgraduate Diplomas in Yoga Sports Science® and the Biomechanics of Sport and Yoga for Sport.
I am mentor to students studying with Yoga Sports Science® and work throughout the U.K. across a varied range of sports and performance from grass roots to professionals and Olympians, including disabled. I work with athletes and performers of any discipline and level, coaches, teams and NGB's etc. on any aspect of training, pre-hab and rehab, to improve and enhance performance to achieve that extra edge.
Alongside more traditional styles of mat based yoga I also teach chair yoga for therapy and rehabilitation for people with various conditions - stroke, MS, Parkinson’s, M.E., disabled and injured clients etc., along with older age groups, additional learning needs and mental health.
I work with the Prison Phoenix Trust, teaching yoga in prisons and various mental health organisations.
Working with a person - centred approach, I understand the anatomy and biomechanics of movement within any given sport or discipline undertaken to achieve that extra edge of excellence needed for capitalising on achievement and performance.
