Hi I'm Ali.
I first started practising yoga in 2012, after attending a local class, and I very quickly fell in love with the practice. I trained to teach children's yoga with Chrysalis Kids in 2014, and have been regular teaching children's classes since 2015. I completed my 200h Dru Yoga Teacher Training in June 2018, a journey which took just over 2 years.
I teach regular classes for adults on a Monday evening, 7:30-8:30 at the Band Room in Slaithwaite. These are nurturing classes suitable for beginners or more experienced yogis.
I also teacher regular children's classes on a Wednesday after school, during term time, at Om Is Where The Heart Is in Slaithwaite. These classes are currently for 8-12yr olds. Classes are fun and interactive and include games, partner work, breath work and relaxation. Each half term has a theme, such as the body or the myths behind the postures.
