My teaching is based around the Iyengar style of yoga with its emphasis on detail, precision and the integration of breath. I teach to the needs of the student(s) and sessions could take on a more energetic flow, or a practice to work on a particular quality, or maybe a gentler yin practice for recuperation and healing.

My first recollection of doing Yoga is with my Dad at the age of five on a Sunday morning. That morning planted the seed of interest that has grown into my Yoga practice today!
I qualified as a Yoga Alliance (500hr) Karuna teacher with Ruth White who herself studied under B.K.S Iyengar and I have since taught both public and private classes around the Theale area of Berkshire.
More recently I have undertaken a Yoga Sports Coaching 500hr qualification with the Institute of Yoga Sports Science to add the science behind what we intuitively know the benefits of Yoga to be, not just for the athlete, but for everybody.
Yoga is for anybody and everybody! Daily life throws up an array of challenges that can, when they catch us off guard, bring stress to our lives. Yoga brings a balance to body and mind that helps us ‘spend’ our available energy where it matters and to let go where it doesn’t. I teach mixed ability classes based around Theale in Berkshire and am available to teach additional groups either at a venue organised by the group or here in Theale. I can provide enough equipment for groups up to 20 students and am happy to travel throughout Berkshire, Hampshire and Oxfordshire.
I also provide sessions on an individual basis which can be supported either at the students home or again, here in Theale. Working on a one to one basis ensures a practice tailored to your individual needs and will often result in noticeable benefits much quicker.
