A slow and uplifting flow yoga to safely hold us as we ease our way out of the week and move into the weekend. This class offers lots of options to adapt the practice to suit your body and personal level of practice, from beginner to more advanced. A class to ease tension from all areas of body, bringing space and openness, movement and flexibility and to help improve core strength to support the health of the spine.

I'm a trauma informed registered Yoga Alliance (RYT 400 hrs) yoga teacher teaching in and around Nottingham and the South Nottinghamshire area. I've been teaching full time since 2017 and offer community classes in different styles of yoga ranging from embodied flow yoga to the slower practices of yin, restorative yoga and yoga nidra. If your preference is to work more closely to address a specific health issue or to delve more deeply into your practice, you may prefer to work with me 1:1. I am also a qualified Yoga Therapist for PTSD (Minded Institute, 2019).
I also offer bespoke trauma informed programmes combining trauma, resilience and embodied yoga practices. I'm currently delivering a programme I've developed for survivors of domestic abuse with Women's Aid. Bespoke programmes offer a tailored approach and are designed to specifically support you, your service users or your employees on their healing journey to address physical ailments, emotional wellbeing and offer empowering tools which help with bringing the nervous system back into a regulated state. I found yoga after a long history with back problems. I had my first spinal surgery at the age of 15. Numerous surgeries later and after years of living with chronic pain, the NHS finally suggested I try yoga. How I wish they had sooner! I instantly felt the benefits, both in the physical body and the emotional body. With metal rods and plates in my lumbar spine I firmly believe that yoga is for everybody and every body. My classes offer a safe and welcoming space for you to explore the practice and see how yoga can benefit you too.
