Yoga uses postures (asanas) to lengthen and strengthen muscles. Coordinating these postures with the breath integrates the mind and body, clearing away the stresses and strains of daily life. The careful use of krama, or stages, in this class means that it’s suitable for beginners and more experienced practitioners alike. Expect sun salutations and stretches to evenly work the body, moving mindfully towards the final deep relaxation in savasana.

I started yoga in 2003 with a rigorous Ashtanga practice, loving the physical challenge of this style. I immediately appreciated the fun non-competitive self-exploration that yoga encourages, often surprising myself with what was possible.
Although I still practice and love Ashtanga, I've broadened my yoga into other styles, now loving everything from an invigorating Dynamic Vinyasa Flow, calmer Hatha Yoga to restful Yin Yoga. I've come to appreciate the impact yoga practice can have on our outlook, providing a much needed opportunity for relaxation and restoration in today's hectic world.
Seated meditation has become an important part of my practice. The benefits to my life from meditation are many, and so I include an element of this in my teaching.
I completed my yoga teacher diploma at Yogacampus in London, studying with teachers who have a variety of approaches, such as Liz Lark, Richard Freeman, Graham Burns and Sarah Litton. Attending workshops and seminars keeps me up to date, and I'm registered with the Yoga Alliance.
I hope to meet you on your mat someday soon.
